Return policy for stocked items purchased on our Shop page

If you are not satisfied with the item you have purchased, your item may be returned within 14 days from receipt of delivery and must be returned in the same new and unworn condition received and returned in same packaging with tags intact.  For all returns please email us at info@joseandmariabarrera.com to obtain an RA# and include a description /reason for return and we will issue an RA to process refund with additional information for returning merchandise. Refund will not be processed till item is received in our warehouse. If returned item is sent back damaged from customer’s use there may be a fee deducted from your refund, decision is made case by case. Shipping charges are not refundable. For your security, please return your purchased item with an insured courier ( FedEx, UPS ) and include a paper with your name, return address, phone number or email and our shipping address. This information added to the package is for your own protection if your package goes missing in transit and please retain your tracking receipt. Jose and Maria Barrera Company LTD. is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit back to us.

For items not in stock and requested to be produced or special ordered , returns are not accepted. Please read description of size and color carefully to make sure you are requesting production of item that will fit your needs. If you change your mind regarding your special order , please email or call to cancel with in 24 hours of order placed and we will stop production and refund the full amount of the purchase.

We do not accept any returns for credit or exchanges of items that are not purchased from our website but we do accommodate reasonable repairs free of charge. Please email a picture of the item and a close up of what needs repair so we can see how we can help.

REPAIR POLICY

Our Fashion Collections consist of plated metal, which can possibly darken or tarnish with normal wear. To help this with not happening, please avoid direct contact with hairspray, lotions, oils, or perfumes. Excessive light, heat or moisture will deteriorate the pearls, plating, and stones. We recommend for regular cleaning to gently wipe the metal surface with a soft cloth or q-tip to clean, however, excessive polishing may rub off or scratch the plating. We recommend storing jewelry in protective cloth, tissue or pouch when not in use or transporting in your purse to protect from other objects scratching or nicking metal plating or stones. Each piece is unique and hand made, so stones and pearls may vary in shape, size and color. Natural stone may have inclusions that may be visible to the eye and are considered a part of their natural beauty. We will make every effort to repair or replace Fashion items to their original beauty. If an item that needs repair was purchased outside of the last 6 month timeframe please estimate 3-4 weeks from the date we receive it to process your repair due to material not being currently on hand from past production. For all repairs, please email a photo of item to info@joseandmariabarrera.com to obtain a RA# to confirm item before sending repair. We provide simple/reasonable repairs free of charge but the shipping of item to us and back to you is the responsibility of the customer. We will then do the repair and contact you regarding shipping back . You can include in your package to us a return shipping label or we will create a UPS shipping label and contact you regarding UPS shipping charges.

Domestic Shipping

The joseandmariabarrera.com website is offering flat rate shipping through the USPS and UPS Ground within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico at a discounted shipping rate as a thank you for your purchase. Any items returned, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Expedited shipping is available at standard UPS.com rates by weight, please email if you have questions and need your order rushed.

International Shipping

For all other international customers outside of the United States including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico we are offering a flat rate international shipping rate option on our website and checkout page but I encourage customers to visit www.myus.com  and create an account to compare shipping costs to their individual address. There may be a less expensive option than the flat rate I have offered since it is not calculating by zip code, it is general for all international shipping. We have had customers recommend www.myus.com from their positive experiences with shipping, tracking and affordability. Feel free to email me with your exact shipping address and items you would like to order and I can confirm shipping information and rates. International shipping processed through our website must include a ship to address that can accept signature at arrival to provide confirmation of delivery.

Our return policy of 14 days will apply from the date package is received by the customer. International customers will have additional time consideration for their returns if they are not satisfied with their purchase since shipping may take longer. Customers are responsible for their shipping charges, shipping is non-refundable

Our office hours are Monday through Friday so if an order is placed on a Friday or over a holiday  , please anticipate that it will not be processed until the following Monday or after the holiday. Thank you !
